Consulting for climate adaptation,
built around your context.

Every engagement starts with a conversation and ends with a written plan your team owns. Choose a track below, download the plan template to shape your thinking, then send an inquiry — no obligation.

Who this is for

Teams translating risk into action.

I work with public agencies, NGOs, foundations, and private-sector partners who are ready to move from diagnosis to delivery — and who need an outside collaborator who speaks both science and operations.

  • —Climate adaptation and DRR program leads
  • —Resilience, sustainability, and ESG officers
  • —Humanitarian and displacement-response teams
  • —Research groups turning evidence into practice
  • —Local governments and community coalitions

How I work

Context first. Clear outputs. Shared ownership.

I don’t parachute in with a prefilled deck. Every engagement starts by understanding the political, social, and ecological context, then co-designs a scope, deliverables, and learning plan that your team can carry forward without me.

  • —Listen before prescribing — active listening and resource dependency mapping
  • —Blend hazard science, equity, and implementation experience
  • —Document everything so knowledge stays inside your organization
  • —Build toward locally led adaptation and durable partnerships
  • —Price engagements honestly, with no hidden scope creep

Engagement tracks

Strategy Development

Objectives & key results, National Adaptation Plans, climate implementation strategy, and disaster-risk framing for leadership teams.

Plan 03

Rates and budgets are scoped per engagement and discussed during the proposal step — every context is different.

How to use the template

Five steps to prepare your inquiry.

  1. 01

    Download the Word template

Save it to a shared drive and open it in any word processor. The ten sections are already laid out for you.

  2. 02

    Answer the framing questions

Start with the question behind the question and the risk-context snapshot. These two sections shape everything that follows.

  3. 03

    Invite your stakeholders

Add voices from operations, finance, community liaison, and leadership. The template has prompts for each perspective.

  4. 04

    Complete the remaining sections

Work through OKRs, scope, timeline, budget, assumptions, and evaluation criteria. Short bullets are fine.

  5. 05

    Send it back

Attach the completed template to the inquiry form below, or paste the key points into the project scope field.

Engagement process

Five steps. No surprises.

  1. 01

    Initial consultation

A free 45-minute discovery call to understand your context and the question behind the question.

  2. 02

    Needs assessment

A short diagnostic — documents, stakeholder input, and a risk snapshot — to size the engagement honestly.

  3. 03

    Written proposal

Scope, deliverables, timeline, and budget, built on the downloadable engagement plan template below.

  4. 04

    Implementation

Delivery with weekly rhythms, transparent reporting, and collaborative reviews at each milestone.

  5. 05

    Evaluation & reporting

A closing evaluation against the agreed OKRs, with a handover package your team can run with.

Hybrid work mode — remote with strategic on-site assessments, collaborations, and workshops. Preferred engagement 3+ months.

Guided needs assessment

Not sure how to frame it?

Answer three short questions and the assessment tool will draft a tailored needs summary — likely scope, the engagement track that fits, and open questions for a discovery call. It lands in the inquiry form below, ready for you to edit and send.

Prefer to write it yourself? Skip straight to the form — this step is optional.
